ఈ లోకంలో మనం చేపట్టిన పనులు విజయవంతం కావాలని ఎన్నో ప్రణాళికలు వేస్తుంటాము, రాత్రింబవళ్ళు కష్టపడుతుంటాము. కానీ కొన్నిసార్లు ఎంత ప్రయాసపడినా ఆశించిన ఫలితం దక్కక, భవిష్యత్తు గురించిన భయాలు మనసును కలవరపరుస్తుంటాయి. "నేను అనుకున్న ఆలోచనలు నెరవేరుతాయా? నా కష్టానికి తగిన ప్రతిఫలం దక్కుతుందా?" అనే ఆందోళన మనల్ని శారీరకంగా, మానసికంగా తీవ్రమైన అలసటకు గురిచేస్తుంది. మన స్వంత జ్ఞానం, సామర్థ్యం మీద మాత్రమే ఆధారపడినప్పుడు నిరాశే మిగులుతుంది. సరిగ్గా ఇటువంటి పరిస్థితుల్లో, జ్ఞానియైన సొలొమోను ద్వారా దేవుడు మన కార్యాలు సఫలమవ్వడానికి గల దైవిక సూత్రాన్ని సామెతలు 16:3 లో ఈ విధంగా వెల్లడించాడు:
"నీ పనుల భారము యెహోవామీద నుంచుము, అప్పుడు నీ ఉద్దేశములు సఫలమగును."

నీ పనుల భారము మోపుము (Commit thy works unto the Lord): 'పనుల భారము మోపడం' అనగా మన ప్రయత్నాలను దేవుని హస్తాలకు సంపూర్ణంగా అప్పగించడం. మన ప్లానింగ్, మన కష్టం మనదే అయినా... దానికి విజయాన్ని అనుగ్రహించేది దేవుడేనని గుర్తించి ఆయన సహాయాన్ని కోరడమే అసలైన సమర్పణ.
నీ ఉద్దేశములు (Thy thoughts shall be established): మనం దేవునిపై ఆధారపడినప్పుడు, ఆయన మన ఆలోచనలను (Thoughts/Plans) క్రమబద్ధీకరిస్తాడు. మన మనస్సులోని గందరగోళాన్ని తొలగించి, స్పష్టమైన దైవిక నడిపింపును, జ్ఞానాన్ని అనుగ్రహిస్తాడు.
సఫలమగును (Shall be established): దేవుని పాదాల చెంత మోపబడిన ఏ పని కూడా వ్యర్థం కాదు. ఆయన చిత్తంలో ఉన్న ప్రణాళికలను సర్వశక్తిమంతుడైన దేవుడు ఖచ్చితంగా సఫలం చేస్తాడు; ఆటంకాలను తొలగించి జయాన్ని దయచేస్తాడు.
ఈ రోజు మీ దైనందిన జీవితంలో లేదా వ్యాపార, ఉద్యోగ, కుటుంబ బాధ్యతలలో తీవ్రమైన భారంతో, "ఈ పని పూర్తవుతుందో లేదో, నా ప్రణాళికలు నెరవేరుతాయో లేదో" అని తీవ్రమైన ఆందోళనతో, నిరాశతో కృంగిపోతున్నారా? పరిస్థితుల ఒత్తిడి వల్ల అంతరంగంలో నెమ్మది కోల్పోయారా? అధైర్యపడకండి!

"Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established."
