ఈ లోకంలో మనుషులు ఆధిపత్యం చలాయించడానికి, తమ బలాన్ని నిరూపించుకోవడానికి గర్వాన్ని, క్రోధాన్ని ప్రదర్శిస్తుంటారు. "బలవంతుడిదే భూమి, ఎదురు తిరిగేవాడిదే లోకం" అనే సూత్రాన్ని లోకం నమ్ముతుంది. తమ హక్కుల కోసం పోరాడి, ఇతరులను అణగదొక్కేవారే విజయవంతంగా ముందుకు వెళ్తున్నట్లు కనిపిస్తారు. కానీ, మన పరలోకపు తండ్రి నేర్పే పాఠం దీనికి పూర్తిగా భిన్నమైనది. యేసుప్రభువు తనను వెంబడించే శిష్యులకు పరలోక రాజ్య విలువలను నేర్పుతూ మత్తయి 5:5 లో ఒక అద్భుతమైన ఆత్మీయ రహస్యాన్ని బయలుపరిచాడు:

(Who are the Meek?): సాత్వికము అంటే బలహీనత కానే కాదు. అది దైవిక నియంత్రణలో ఉన్న బలం (strength under control). మనకు తిరగబడే శక్తి ఉన్నప్పటికీ, దేవుని వాక్యానికి లోబడి కోపాన్ని, పగను విడిచిపెట్టి, వినయంగా, శాంతంగా ఉండటమే సాత్వికము. యేసుక్రీస్తు తానే "సాత్వికుడను దీనమనస్సు గలవాడను" అని సెలవిచ్చి మనకు మాదిరిగా నిలిచాడు.

లోకపు పద్ధతిలో మీ బలాన్ని నిరూపించుకోవడానికి ప్రయత్నించకండి. మీ నిశ్శబ్దాన్ని, మీ సాత్వికతను దేవుడు చూస్తున్నాడు. శత్రువుల ఎదుట మీ పక్షాన నిలబడి కార్యము జరిగించే శక్తి ఆయనకు ఉంది. మీ హృదయంలోని సాత్విక గుణాన్ని కాపాడుకోండి. ఎంతైనా నమ్మదగిన మీ దేవుడు మీ దీనత్వాన్ని చూసి, సరైన సమయంలో మీ శత్రువుల ఎదుటే మిమ్మల్ని ఘనంగా హెచ్చించి, భూమిపై ఆయన మీ కోసం దాచి ఉంచిన సమస్త స్వాస్థ్యాన్ని, సమాధానకరమైన జీవితాన్ని మీకు అనుగ్రహించబోతున్నారు. ఆమేన్!--------------------------In this world, people often exhibit pride and anger to dominate and assert their power. The world firmly believes in the survival of the fittest, assuming that those who fight aggressively and suppress others are the ones who advance. However, the lesson our Heavenly Father teaches is completely the opposite. While instructing His disciples on the core values of the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus reveals a beautiful spiritual paradox in Matthew 5:5:
"Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."
Within this powerful divine promise lie three essential spiritual truths that form the foundation for our spiritual and daily elevation:
What is True Meekness?: Meekness is by no means weakness. It is strength under divine control. True meekness is having the capacity to retaliate, yet choosing to submit to God's Word by casting away anger, resentment, and maintaining a gentle and quiet spirit. Jesus Himself stood as our ultimate example, saying, "I am meek and lowly in heart."
Blessed are the Meek: God calls those who possess a gentle spirit 'blessed.' Rather than the one who conquers the world through rage and pride, the person who conquers his own heart through a calm spirit in obedience to God's will is truly blessed in His sight.
They Shall Inherit the Earth: The meek might appear as losers in the eyes of the world, but the Lord of all the earth promises to grant them a rich inheritance and blessings both in this lifetime and in eternity. God Himself will champion their cause and establish their rights.
Are you feeling discouraged in your daily life, workplace, or family today, thinking, "I live peacefully and gently with everyone, yet they perceive me as weak and constantly belittle me"? Is your heart tempted to respond to others with anger to prove your point? Take heart!
Do not strive to prove your strength in a worldly manner. God sees your quietness and your gentle spirit. He has the power to work on your behalf in the presence of those who oppose you. Keep guarding the meekness of your heart.
