ఈ లోకంలో మనం దేవుని బిడ్డలుగా, నీతిగా జీవించాలని ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నప్పుడు తరచుగా మనకు ఇతరుల నుండి వ్యతిరేకత, నిందలు లేదా అవమానాలు ఎదురవుతుంటాయి. "నేను దేవుని నమ్ముకుని, మంచిగా జీవిస్తున్నా సరే నాకెందుకు ఇన్ని కష్టాలు?" అని మన మనసు ఒక్కోసారి నిరాశకు గురికావచ్చు. కానీ, లోకం మనల్ని తృణీకరించినప్పుడు మనం ఎలా స్పందించాలో యేసుప్రభువు కొండమీద ప్రసంగంలో ఎంతో స్పష్టంగా నేర్పించారు. మత్తయి 5:12 లో ఆయన ఇలా సెలవిస్తున్నారు: "సంతోషించి ఆనందించుడి, పరలోకమందు మీ ఫలము అధికమగును."
ప్రభువు మనల్ని కేవలం 'ఓపిక పట్టండి' అనడం లేదు, ఒకడుగు ముందుకు వేసి 'సంతోషించి ఆనందించుడి' అంటున్నారు. ఎందుకంటే, దేవుని నిమిత్తం మనం పొందే ప్రతి నింద వెనుక ఒక గొప్ప రహస్యం దాగి ఉంది. లోకంలో మనం పొందే కష్టాలు తాత్కాలికమైనవి, కానీ వాటి ద్వారా పరలోకంలో మనకోసం దాచబడిన బహుమానం (ఫలము) ఎంతో గొప్పది, శాశ్వతమైనది. పూర్వకాలంలో ఉన్న ప్రవక్తలను, భక్తులను కూడా లోకం ఇలాగే హింసించింది. కాబట్టి, శోధనలు వచ్చినప్పుడు మనం ఒంటరివారం కాదు, ప్రవక్తల వరుసలో ఉన్నామనే సత్యాన్ని మనం గ్రహించాలి.
ఈ రోజు మీ భక్తి జీవితాన్ని బట్టి, మీ నీతిని బట్టి ఇతరులు మిమ్మల్ని హేళన చేస్తున్నారా? మీ విశ్వాసం కారణంగా కుటుంబంలోనో, స్నేహితుల్లోనో ఒంటరి అయిపోయారా? దిగులుపడకండి, మీ తల పైకెత్తి పరలోకం వైపు చూడండి. మీ కన్నీళ్లను, మీ శ్రమలను చూస్తున్న యేసయ్య మీకోసం పరలోకంలో అత్యధికమైన ఫలాన్ని సిద్ధపరుస్తున్నారు. లోకపు ఆదరణ కంటే దేవుడు ఇచ్చే బహుమానం ఎంతో శ్రేష్ఠమైనది. కాబట్టి, ప్రస్తుత శ్రమలను చూసి కృంగిపోకుండా, రాబోయే ఆ నిత్యమహిమను బట్టి ఉత్సాహంతో సంతోషించండి! ఆమేన్!

When we try to live righteously as children of God in this world, we often encounter opposition, insults, or false accusations from others. Our hearts might sometimes grow discouraged, wondering, "Why am I facing so many trials even though I trust in God and live uprightly?" However, Jesus taught us exactly how to respond when the world despises us during His Sermon on the Mount. In Matthew 5:12, He declares: "Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven."
The Lord does not merely ask us to 'be patient'; He goes a step further and commands us to 'rejoice and be exceeding glad.' This is because a profound secret lies behind every insult we endure for His sake. The afflictions we experience in this world are temporary, but the reward laid up for us in heaven because of them is immensely great and eternal. The world persecuted the prophets and saints of old in the exact same way. Therefore, we must realize that when trials come, we are not alone; we walk in the footsteps of the holy prophets.
Are people mocking you today because of your faith or your righteous living? Have you become isolated among your family or friends due to your devotion? Do not lose heart; lift your head and look toward heaven. Jesus, who watches your tears and struggles, is preparing an abundant reward for you in heaven. The reward God bestows is far superior to any worldly favor. Therefore, instead of being crushed by present trials, rejoice with enthusiasm for the eternal glory that awaits you! Amen!
