ఈ లోకంలో జీవిస్తున్నప్పుడు మన శ్రమల్లో, సమస్యల్లో సహాయం కోసం మనుష్యులపై, లౌకిక హోదాలపై లేదా ప్రాపంచిక సంబంధాలపై ఆధారపడినప్పుడు చాలాసార్లు మోసపోవడమో లేదా నిరాశ చెందడమో జరుగుతుంటుంది. నమ్మిన మనుషులు హ్యాండ్ ఇచ్చినప్పుడు లేదా పరిస్థితి చేయిదాటిపోయినప్పుడు "నాకు సహాయం చేసేవారు ఎవరు? నేను ఎవరిని నమ్మి ముందడుగు వేయాలి?" అని తీవ్రమైన అభద్రతాభావంతో, ఆందోళనతో కృంగిపోతుంటాము. మానవ శక్తి, లోకపు సలహాలు హద్దులు కలిగినవి; కానీ సర్వశక్తిమంతుడైన దేవుడు ఎన్నటికీ వెన్నుచూపని, మోసం చేయని నిత్యమైన ఆశ్రయము. బైబిలు గ్రంథంలో సరిగ్గా మధ్య వచనంగా నిలిచే ఈ మహిమాన్వితమైన వాక్యం ద్వారా భక్తుడైన కీర్తనకారుడు కీర్తనలు 118:8 లో ఈ గొప్ప ఆత్మీయ సత్యాన్ని ప్రకటించాడు:

యెహోవాను ఆశ్రయించుట మేలు (It Is Better to Trust in the Lord): సృష్టికర్తయైన దేవునిపై భారమొనర్చి ఆయనను ఆశ్రయించినప్పుడు ఆయన మనల్ని ఏమాత్రం సిగ్గుపరచడు, శ్రేష్ఠమైన మార్గంలో నడిపిస్తాడు.
కదల్చబడని ఆత్మీయ పునాది (Unshakeable Rock): లోకసంబంధమైన ప్రతి ఆధారము పడిపోవచ్చు; కానీ దేవుని వాక్యము మరియు ఆయన దైవిక హస్తము నిత్యమూ స్థిరంగా ఉంటాయి.
