ఈ లోకంలో ప్రతి మనిషి తాము చేసే కష్టానికి తగిన ప్రతిఫలాన్ని ఆశిస్తుంటారు. దానిని 'జీతము' అంటారు. అయితే, ఆత్మీయ ప్రపంచంలో కూడా ఒక జీతం ఉంది. మానవుడు తెలిసి లేదా తెలియక చేసే పాపానికి లోకం ఇచ్చే ముగింపు ఎంతో భయంకరమైనది. ఈ సత్యాన్ని, అలాగే దానికి దేవుడు సిద్ధం చేసిన అద్భుతమైన విముక్తి మార్గాన్ని అపొస్తలుడైన పౌలు రోమీయులకు రాసిన పత్రికలో ఎంతో స్పష్టంగా బయలుపరిచాడు. రోమీయులకు 6:23 లో లేఖనం ఇలా సెలవిస్తోంది:
"ఏలయనగా పాపము వలన వచ్చు జీతము మరణము; అయితే దేవుని కృపావరము మన ప్రభువైన క్రీస్తుయేసు నందు నిత్యజీవము."
ఈ శక్తివంతమైన దైవిక వాక్యంలో మానవాళి రక్షణకు పునాదిగా నిలిచే మూడు ముఖ్యమైన ఆత్మీయ సత్యాలు ఉన్నాయి:
పాపము వలన వచ్చు జీతము: పాపం అనేది మనిషిని దేవునికి దూరం చేస్తుంది. దీని వలన వచ్చే జీతం కేవలం శారీరక మరణం మాత్రమే కాదు, దేవుని సన్నిధికి శాశ్వతంగా దూరమైపోయే 'ఆత్మీయ మరణం'. మనిషి తన స్వంత పుణ్యకార్యాల వల్ల గానీ, నీతి క్రియల వల్ల గానీ ఈ మరణ శిక్ష నుండి తప్పించుకోలేడు.
దేవుని కృపావరము: మనిషి తనంతట తాను రక్షించుకోలేని ఆ అసాధ్యమైన స్థితిలో, దేవుడు మనపై చూపిందే 'కృప'. కృప అంటే మనకు అర్హత లేకపోయినా దేవుడు ఉచితంగా ఇచ్చే ప్రేమ. దీని కోసం మనం ఎలాంటి వెల చెల్లించాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు; ఎందుకంటే యేసుక్రీస్తు ఆల్రెడీ సిలువపై తన ప్రాణాన్ని క్రయధనంగా చెల్లించారు.
క్రీస్తుయేసు నందు నిత్యజీవము: దేవుని కృప ద్వారా మనకు లభించే బహుమతి 'నిత్యజీవము' (Eternal Life). ఇది కేవలం మరణం తర్వాత వచ్చే జీవితం మాత్రమే కాదు, ఇప్పుడే ఈ భూమి మీదే దేవునితో కలిసి ప్రారంభమయ్యే ఆనందకరమైన, సంతోషభరితమైన ఆత్మీయ జీవితం.
ఈ రోజు మీ జీవితంలో "నేను ఎన్నో తప్పులు చేశాను, దేవుడు నన్ను క్షమిస్తాడా? నా ఆత్మీయ స్థితి అంతా గందరగోళంగా ఉందే" అని అపరాధభావంతో (Guilt) కుంగిపోతున్నారా? మీ గత జీవితాన్ని బట్టి నిరాశపడుతున్నారా? గుర్తుంచుకోండి, మీ పాప శిక్షను భరించడానికే యేసయ్య సిలువపై రక్తాన్ని కార్చారు. ఈ రోజే క్రీస్తుయేసు నందు దేవుడు మీకు ఉచితంగా ఇస్తున్న రక్షణ అనే కృపావరాన్ని విశ్వాసంతో స్వీకరించండి. మీ పాప భారమంతటి నుండి విడుదల పొంది, దేవుడు ఇచ్చే నిత్యజీవపు సంతోషంతోను, సమాధానంతోను నింపబడండి. ఆమేన్!

In this world, every individual expects a reward or compensation for the hard work they do. This is called 'wages.' However, in the spiritual realm, there is also a wage. The consequence that the world offers for the sins a human commits whether knowingly or unknowingly is terrifying. Apostle Paul beautifully and clearly uncovers this truth, along with the magnificent path of redemption God designed, in his letter to the Romans. Romans 6:23 declares:
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Within this powerful divine verse lie three essential spiritual truths that form the absolute foundation of human salvation:
The Wages of Sin: Sin separates man from God. The wage it brings is not merely physical demise, but a permanent separation from the presence of God, which is 'spiritual death.' Man can never escape this death sentence through his own good deeds or self-righteousness.
The Gift of God (Grace): In that helpless state where man could not save himself, what God demonstrated toward us is 'Grace.' Grace means unmerited favor the unconditional love God gives freely. We do not have to pay any price for it because Jesus Christ already paid the ultimate price with His life on the cross.
Eternal Life through Jesus Christ: The free gift we receive through God's grace is 'Eternal Life.' This is not just a life that begins after physical death; it is a joyful, blessed spiritual life with God that starts right here, right now on this earth.
Are you broken today under a cloud of guilt, thinking, "I have made so many mistakes, will God ever forgive me? My spiritual life is in ruins"? Are you discouraged because of your past? Remember, Jesus shed His precious blood on the cross specifically to bear the punishment of your sins. Receive the free gift of salvation that God is offering you through Jesus Christ today by faith. Be delivered from the heavy burden of your past and be filled with the peace and joy of His eternal life. Amen!
