ఈ లోకంలో జీవిస్తున్నప్పుడు మన అజ్ఞానం వల్ల, బలహీనతల వల్ల చేసే పొరపాట్లు లేదా పాపాలు మన మనస్సును తీవ్రమైన నేర భావనతో (Guilt), అశాంతితో నింపేస్తుంటాయి. అలాగే, జీవితంలో ఎదురయ్యే రకరకాల సంకటాలు, శారీరక వ్యాధులు మరియు మానసిక ఆందోళనలు మనల్ని తీవ్రంగా కృంగదీస్తుంటాయి. మనుషులు మన పొరపాట్లను గుర్తుపెట్టుకుని నిందించవచ్చు లేదా మన సమస్యల్లో చేతులెత్తేయవచ్చు; కానీ పరలోకపు తండ్రి మన మనస్తాపాన్ని చూసి మన దోషాలన్నింటినీ క్షమించి, మన సంకటాలన్నింటినీ కుదిర్చి, నూతన ప్రారంభాన్ని ఇవ్వడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్న దయామయుడు. దేవుని అపారమైన దయను, స్వస్థపరిచే శక్తిని స్మరించుకుంటూ భక్తుడైన దావీదు కీర్తనలు 103:3 లో ఈ గొప్ప ఆత్మీయ అభయాన్ని ప్రకటించాడు:

Celebrating God's unshakeable forgiveness and miraculous restoration, King David declares in Psalms 103:3:
"Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases."
